Community Programs
Being there for our neighbors and their pets. It's more than "rescue" - it's about our community as well. Contact us today for more information on our amazing programs.
Humane Rent-a-Trap
We get a lot of requests for TNRing in the community. Unfortunately, we were not able to keep the program funded/staffed. In response, we have created a program to allow the community to rent our traps to help TNR the felines in their community, retrieve lost pets and helps strays.
Pet/Rescue Transport
Traveling is one of our biggest tasks when it comes to saving lives from kill-shelters. If your pet needs to get somewhere for a drop off, consider reaching out about our current schedule to see if we can help. We charge .25 per mile locally and .75 long-distance. All proceeds go right back into the rescue.
Are you a rescue needing a relay? Contact us for information.
One Love for Seniors
Senior animals often get stuck in the system with many looking for younger pets to spend their lives with. Here, we help pair up senior animals with older humans looking for furry companionship. Adoption fees for senior animals are $15.00 for adopters that qualify. In addition, we help them care for the pet for the remainder of that pet's life.
Training and Behavioral Consultation
It can be frustrating when your pet is on the fritz or doing something "for no reason". The Director offers to come to your home for a Behavioral Consultation and education on animal behavior. Pet Owners are given tips and tricks for basic training, while also given a list of CBHR approved dog trainers in the area based on your needs. Our Director has 15+ years' experience in animal behavior and animal welfare.
Sponsorship and Virtual Adoptions
When you can't bring home one of our amazing animals, consider sponsoring a portion of their adoption fee or virtually adopt one of our amazing animals. As a Virtual Adopter, you will receive exclusive updates on your "adopted" pet up until they find their forever home.
Adoptable animals will receive a special border around their pictures and a special thanks to their virtual adopters on their profile. All animals still go through our standard process of looking for the most qualified home for their needs to ensure none are being taken advantage of.
Shelter and Rescue Programs
We don't stop at just our community. With over 15 years of working with other shelters and organizations, it's time to start working together on the same mission. We even work with shelters all over the United States.
Public Educational/Service Meetings
Join us for scheduled meetings to talk about various of topics like volunteer mental health, disease control, budgeting, and more. Have a request or idea on something we should talk about? Feel free to contact us.
Volunteer and Staff Training
Shelters are busy and sometimes may not have a volunteer coordinator. Allow us to help you take one less thing off your plate while we help prepare your volunteers and staff to be the best they can be. Be sure to send over your guidelines so we can adjust their training to meet your expectations.
Shelter Assistance
All of our programs, lessons and more head out on the road to provide assistance and support to shelters all over. We ask at bare minimum that travel expenses are taken care of so we can arrive safely. Some can even be handled long-distances. Look below to see the different topics and services we cover.
Euthanization Rescue
As always, we help pull animals off of the euthanization list all over the United States. Contact us today if you're in need.
