RESCUE TRANSPORT (PAGE UNDER CONSTRUCTION)
About Our Transport
One of our biggest tasks in our organization is the transportation of animals and bringing them from kill-shelters back to foster homes or adoptive homes. However, we do not have a transport vehicle that can take many animals at once. At this time, we operate using private (or rented) vehicles meaning there's limited space. On average, we transport 3-4 dogs at a time if they all get along or can fit in a carrier.
ADOPTERSWe will travel to nearby states within reason for adoptive homes. Adopters will need to pay a transportation fee or come pick up the dog from our rescue base located in Willoughby, Ohio. Transportation rates are currently at;
.75c per Mile
We do not meet half-way for first time adopters. If you have difficulty paying a transportation fee please contact us as we may have planned transport heading your way for other reasons. • Other Adoptions• Shelter Pickup• Director Heading out for Shelter Education
RESCUES Please refer to our "Established Routes" to see where we frequent. Meeting us on these routes may make picking up animals easier. However, any transportation assistance you can provide helps.
If you need assistance with transport with dogs going to other rescues or homes, please contact us. We will usually assist along preplanned routes during an EMPTY vehicle. If you're traveling 90E eventually heading into PA, we will usually assist as long as we're available. Donations appreciated.
